Elder Scrolls Online Creative Director Quits, Joins Gearbox

Guy Battles Thing

As Elder Scrolls Online enters the console market, they hit a few bumps in the road. Creative Director of ESO: Tamriel Unlimited, Paul Sage, has quit the company, and begun working at Gearbox Software as a Creative Director for an unknown project. Sage is being replaced by Rich Lambert, who was the Lead Content Designer for ESO.

“We can confirm that Paul left ZOS after the launch of ESOTU on console,” said an official Admin on the official Elder Scrolls Online forum, “He, along with rest of the team, are very happy with how the game is doing and we wish him the best in his future endeavors. ESOTU continues to be in great hands with Game Director, Matt Firor and new Creative Director, Rich Lambert, overseeing development.”

Back in April, The Elder Scrolls Online lost lead gameplay designer Nicholas Konkle to League of Legends developer Riot Games.
