Out of nowhere, Nintendo has made an official announcement that it will be launching its new console, the NX, in March of 2017. Not sure where this exactly came from, but I found out on the official Nintendo of America Twitter account.

Post Christmas meant I had a few games on my list to play. My backlog has reached a near endless status with so many games I still have play. In case you didn’t check, I’m gonna be trying to play 52 games in 52 weeks, so I’ll have to play quite a few titles in order to meet those requirements. This first week of the year, I played a lot of games I’ve been meaning to play for a long time.
In the middle of last year, I heard about something called the 52 Games Challenge, in which someone tries to beat 52 games over the course of the year. Essentially you’d complete one game a week.
It’s been a year of plenty of controversies in video gaming, as it seems every year is. For this Top 5, I had plenty to work with, but I decided on a few criteria to cut things out. First off, I’m not going to be going over any thing that was more in the line of disappointing, particularly any game launches that were less than stellar.
